Everything you need to know to enjoy the Course des Lutins to the full, from collecting your bib to crossing the finish line.
Registration
Taking part in the Course des Lutins costs a flat CHF 20.– per person, with registration online only. It will not be possible to register on the day.
For every registration, CHF 2.– is donated to a charity. Join us for a festive race for a good cause, and enjoy the magic of Christmas in Sierre at the same time!
Registration opens on 1 October 2026 at 12 noon and closes on 16 December 2026 at 12 noon. The race is limited to 1,200 participants: don’t wait too long!
Registration required for everyone
Registration is required for every participant, including accompanying adults.
Where | When
The 7th edition of the Course des Lutins takes place on Saturday 19 December 2026, right in the centre of Sierre, on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville. For the occasion, this iconic square turns into a real winter playground where young and old can take on a fun and festive obstacle course. Starts are scheduled between 10am and 3pm, so everyone can fully enjoy a day devoted to the magic of Christmas, sport and good cheer.
Bib collection
- On Friday 18.12.2026 at the Manora Restaurant from 3pm to 8pm.
- On Saturday 19.12.2026 from 10am on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville.
The Manora Restaurant will exceptionally be open from 8am to 9pm on 18 and 19 December 2026.
Prizes and rewards
Every participant in the Course des Lutins goes home with a bag full of presents and a souvenir medal to celebrate taking part.
Although the race is above all about fun and friendship, the fastest runners get a special mention: the top three in each category receive a prize sent straight to their home after the event – an extra surprise.
Food and drink
As every year, the La Course des Lutins association runs a drinks stand at the finish, where you can warm up with a hot drink or cool down after the effort.
In addition, many food stalls will be open at the Sierre Christmas village on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville. You’ll find a wide range of delicious food – perfect for keeping the party going with family or friends.
Access and parking
🚆 Getting there by train
Sierre SBB railway station is just a few minutes’ walk from the venue. It’s the easiest way to get to the Course des Lutins.
